Abstract
A time- and labor-saving method of obtaining relatively undisturbed, plastic encased soil cores with a hydraulic probe is described. The procedure uses a commercially available, thin walled, translucent plastic tube as a sleeve inside an open-probe tube to provide support for the core as it is removed intact from the tube and transported to the lab. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
