Abstract
Several new homologous series of cyano substituted aryl p-alkoxycinnamates have been synthesized. The reentrant behavior of these series is compared with those of the p-alkoxybenzoates series. The influence of the length of the conjugated system on the reentrant phenomenon is studied.Keywords
