Abstract
The phytoplankton of Lake Kinneret, a warm monomictic lake, is dominated by a Pyrrhophyta-Chlorophyta assemblage. Four stages of succession of planktonic algae occur in the lake, starting with thermal and chemical destratification and ending with stratification.Keywords
