Abstract
Of the many hypothesized effects of affect on the perceptual processes, the author selects the one relating to its influences on perceptual learning. The only aspect of affectivity considered here is the pleasantness-unpleasantness dimension. The discussion is set in the context of a variety of researches and theories. 32 references.Keywords
