Evidence for Crystalline Electric Field and Spin-Orbit Splittings for Co Impurities in Au

Abstract
High-temperature NMR data are presented for dilute alloys of Co in Au. A four-parameter ionic model, including Kondo condensation effects, is shown to account for the anomalous properties of this system.
