Looking at occupations.

Abstract
“A phenomenological study of the way American high school students (N = 150) perceive occupations is presented. A perceptual structure consisting mainly of 7 overlapping job clusters is found to be characteristic of most subjects. Class and regional differences in the structure are analyzed and the different attributes ascribed to each cluster are examined. 2 original types of methods are used which are adaptable to many other problems in social perception.” (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)
