Abstract
The fracture resistance of hot‐pressed SiC between 300 and 1773 K was measured usingKIc, and notched‐beam delayed‐fracture tests. An analysis was developed which enables crack velocities as low as 10−11ms−1to be derived from the failure time. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
