Abstract
Medical students experience psychiatric consultation as part of their undergraduate psychiatric clerkship experience. This allows further identification of the medical student with the psychiatrist in management of psychiatric problems in patient who are primarily non-psychiatric. Reaction has tended to be favourable from the medical students without a great loss of speed or efficiency in terms of the service committment. Keywords
