Abstract
Improvement in business productivity is always desired. This social trend will become more severe in the decades to come. In contrast to the Taylor system of the past, future improvement in productivity will be achieved by making the most of the human nature of workers. The present wide-spread QC circle activities are seen as a symptom of the growing participate management. For the development of management of this type a basic concept of human-oriented management and a new leadership of managers are sought. This concept and leadership should be worthy of employees' support.
