Abstract
Endocarditis caused by Curvularia geniculata occurred in a patient who had received an aortic valve homograft. This is the first recorded case of endocarditis caused by Curvularia and the fourteenth case of fungal infection on a homograft valve. Curvularia endocarditis simulated bacterial endocarditis in all respects. Predisposing factors and mycologic and pathologic aspects are discussed. Keywords
