Abstract
Since the 1963 I.A.G.A. conference at Berkeley our knowledge of radiative transitions which are aeronomically important has been extended particularly into the vacuum ultraviolet region of the spectrum. A brief review is made of the newly established important radiative transitions. Recent experimental and theoretical work on radiative transitions which have aeronomical applications is discussed. Keywords
