Abstract
1. By means of the method of vital staining it is found that the lepra cell in rat leprosy is derived from the histiocyte. 2. From the similarity in morphology and function of the lepra cells in this condition and those of human leprosy, it seems likely that derivation of the cells in the two conditions is similar.Keywords
