Abstract
The metabolic behaviour of 47Ca and 47Sc have been compared in rats after intravenous injection of a 47Ca + 47Sc mixture. The results suggest that the 47Sc initially present in the mixture follows the normal pathways of scandium metabolism, but that 90 per cent or more of the 47Sc by the decay of 47Ca in bone is retained in the skeleton. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
