HOMOIOPLASTIC ADRENAL GRAFTS TO THE CEREBRAL CORTEX OF THE RAT

Abstract
A technique is described for grafting adrenals from new born rats to the cerebral cortex of adult animals. This method was found successful in protecting bilaterally adrenalectomized hosts. Histological examination of such animals, killed after more than 5 mos., revealed complete differentiation of adrenal cortex grown in brain tissue.
