Complex scaling and algebraic calculation of resonances

Abstract
An algebraic approach for the computation of resonance positions and widths by elimination of a noncompact generator by diagonalization is discussed. For an analytically solvable model potential, the method is shown to be completely equivalent to the method of complex rotation of coordinates.Keywords
