Abstract
A medical history and laboratory investigation of patients with recurrent stones serve as the cornerstone for preventive and therapeutic treatment. Identifiable risk factors can be discovered in 90 per cent of the patients. More sophisticated analyses of urinary supersaturation can be helpful in resistant cases. Keywords
