Abstract
A method which involves the use of mesons produced in both the state and the state is proposed to measure the decay rates of the short-lived and long-lived components of neutral kaons. A phenomeno-logical analysis of these decay rates is carried out in the leptonic case, and a new test for invariance is suggested.
