Fortuitous Discovery of a Left Atrial Myxoma Following Acute Myocardial Infarction

Abstract
Routine echocardiography following acute myocardial infarction revealed a large totally asymptomatic left atrial myxoma. One year after excision of the myxoma and coronary artery by-pass grafting, the patient remains well.
