Abstract
Two cases of allergy to denture material are reported. In the first case a denture made of Piacryl caused asthma. It is assumed that the sensitization originated in a chronic maxillary sinusitis. After surgical approach to the sinusitis and a change of dentures the respiratory difficulties subsided. In the 2nd case a bilateral parotitis was present combined with a pollen allergy. This patient was allergic to a denture made of hard rubber. Sensitization in this case was probably caused by the hard rubber in the suspender belt. Elimination of the denture resulted in recovery. Keywords
