Abstract
Acute epididymitis in prepuberal boys is rare; when it does occur, it may be the first manifestation of urologic anomaly or disease. After the diagnosis of epididymitis is established, urologic investigation is essential. In the three boys described here, epididymitis heralded vesicoureteral reflux, which in turn was associated with major abnormalities of the urinary tract. Keywords
