Abstract
PAPILLARY cystadenoma lymphomatosum is a benign tumor of the salivary glands composed of epithelial and lymphoid elements. Although originally described by Hildebrand1 in 1895, it is often referred to as Warthin's tumor, Warthin2 having described it many years later. Occasional cases of multicentricity and bilateral tumors have been reported. In a survey of medical publications only 17 cases of bilateral tumors were found and no case was found of tumors in both parotids simultaneously.3,4 The following case is, therefore, believed to be the first report of simultaneously occurring bilateral papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum of the parotid glands.
