Abstract
The intensities of the forbidden v 1-IR and v 2-Raman bands of CS2 in CS2 neat liquid and binary mixtures of CS2 with various perturbing molecules are studied experimentally. The combined effect of temperature and perturber concentration is investigated. The results indicate that the local environmental symmetry does not vary much within the liquid range. Keywords
