Abstract
Stutterers (10) and nonstutterers (10) read The Rainbow Passage. Intervocalic voiceless stop consonant segments were selected and displayed on wide-band spectrograms. VOT [voice-onset-time] measurements indicated the stutterers displayed longer VOT values than the nonstutterers, and VOT values increased in duration as place of articulation moved back in the oral cavity. Keywords
