Abstract
IN 1948, the Te Awa hill pasture research area was established, and a programme of subdivision, oversowing with legumes, and topdressing with phosphate was undertaken. As the area has now been in operation for a little over fifteen years, this is an appropriate time to take stock of the improvements that have been made. Keywords
