Abstract

In cases of subacute and chronic infectious atrophy of the liver of a special type occurring in Denmark, a moderate degree of anemia (hypo-chromic, normochromic or hyperchromic) was noted associated with leukopenia. Megaloblastic erythropoiesis was not noted in any of the patients.
