Abstract
The author presents a quick method for estimating the parameter in a Poisson distribution under all types of sampling truncation likely to occur in practice. He points out that the estimate will have a larger standard error than the corresponding maximum likelihood estimate. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
