Abstract
The new, electron-deficient iron(II) dihydrogen complexes trans-[Fe(η 2 -H 2 )(L)(dppe) 2 ] 2+ (L = CO or CNH) were surprisingly stable with respect to the loss of H 2 even though there is little Fe–H 2 π-back bonding.Keywords
