Abstract
A patient [7 yr old boy] with long-term survival following partial removal of a left optic nerve glioma is described. Various aspects of the pathology and treatment of the tumor are discussed in conjunction with a brief review of the recent literature. Particular attention is drawn to those features of the tumor which favor its classification as a neoplastic lesion rather than a hamartoma. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
