Abstract
THE pressure variations generated by the heart beat are perhaps the most rapidly changing pressures normally occurring in the body. In general therefore manometer systems capable of faithful reproduction of the pressure pulses occurring in the cardiovascular system are adequate, at least dynamically, for recording pressures encountered under usual circumstances elsewhere in the body. Keywords
