Abstract
Of 25 patients with liver injuries studied with computed tomography (CT), hepatic abnormalities were demonstrated in 23. Lacerations were the most common injury, although subcapsular fluid collections and fragmentation were also identified. The appearances of these injuries on CT are presented and the circumstances under which CT seems to be most appropriate in the evaluation of the traumatized patient are discussed. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
