Abstract
Pathophysiological effects of the argon and carbon dioxide lasers are discussed in detail in reference to pediatric hemangioma problems. Capillary/cavernous hemangioma excision by lasers is illustrated by case example's. Benefits as well as indications for laser usage in the pediatric age group are reviewed. Relatively bloodless excision of hemangiomas by the laser renders this modality particularly valuable for pediatric patients.Keywords
