Abstract
Serological tests and nitrogen determinations indicate that bacteriophage prepared by repeated washing of lysogenic cultures of B. coli contains little bacterial or other protein. Methods of preparation and concentration of such purified phage are described and some of its properties compared with those of homologous crude broth phage of similar titer and pH.†Keywords
