Abstract
The glutamic pyruvic transaminase pheno types were determined in a population sample of Nor thern Germany. Our study in eludes 1017 unrelated individuals and 80 mother-child combinations. The frequency of GPT1 is in a good agreement with a study in American Caucasians, but is lower than in Southwestern Germeny. Simultaneously the phenotyping of acid phosphatase (AP) was performed in the same system. Keywords
