Abstract
The link between high plasma cholesterol and heart disease has spurred interest in understanding cholesterol homeostasis. In their Perspective, Klett and Patel shed light on new research ( Altmann et al.) that identifies a putative intestinal cholesterol transport protein, a key component of the dietary cholesterol absorption pathway.Keywords
