Abstract
Novel 2-acylcyclohexane-1,3-diones and 4-hydroxy-2-acylcyclohexane-1,3-diones hitherto unknown in animals have been identified in the larval mandibular glands of Ephestia kuehniella Zeller. These compounds act as kairomones, causing the parasite Venturia canescens(Grav.) of E. kuehniella to oviposit. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
