Abstract
The modifications of enzymes in the brush border of proximal tubules of the kidney after irradiation were examined. Disaccharase and dipeptidase activities show no significant modifications in the homogenates of kidneys from rats sacrificed between 16 h and 21 days after irradiation with a sublethal dose of 60Co .gamma.-radiation. Their behavior appears different from that of similar enzyme activities of the small intestine at the same intervals after irradiation. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
