Abstract
Incidence of scabies, a disease caused by infestation with the itch mite, Sarcoptes scabiei, was investigated via a survey of practicing dermatologists in the USA. Scabies is an increasing problem; the upsurge apparently is nationwide and began in 1973-74. Infestations appear to transcend socioconomic standing and community settling. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
