Abstract
Proposes the name reticulate cleavage for a morphologically distinctive type of fracture cleavage observed in weakly deformed mudstones of the Tamworth trough (New South Wales) and elsewhere in eastern Australia. It consists of statistically parallel quasiplanar fractures which tend to anastomose and which probably developed as a response to strain accompanying folding.Keywords
