Abstract
The two-dimensional theory of gravity proposed by Jackiw is exactly quantized in the open case. The Wheeler-DeWitt equation is solved in closed form with and without cosmological constant. The theory has no degree of freedom and the unique wave functional reflects the classical aspects of the solution. Keywords
