Conclusions It is emphasized that this report is based on one year's work only and therefore the effect of particular diets and of heavy, medium, or light feeding through two or more years cannot be taken into consideration. However, from these experiments and until more information is available, certain tentative conclusions as to the feeding of brood stock seem Justified. Those judged of more immediate practical interest are given first. 1. Underfeeding through eight months preceding spawning is not harmful to the quality (fertility-viability; of eggs. 2.
