Abstract
A case of rhabdomyolysis, myoglobinuria and acute renal failure following pyelolithotomy and partial nephrectomy are reported. The buttock was injured from lying in the lateral decubitis position during a long surgical procedure. This is in contrast to prior case reports in which muscle injury was caused by ischemic necrosis from exaggerated knee-chest positioning. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
