Abstract
Sodium ferrocyanide in concns. of 5-20 mg.% in serum or urine is measured, after oxidation to ferri-cyanide, as Turnbull''s blue. Recoveries in 57 single detns. of Na ferrocyanide, added to serum and urine, in concns. of 5-20 mg.%, showed standard deviations from the mean in mg.% ranging from[plus or minus] 0.10 to [plus or minus] 0.38. The method has been used in measuring glomerular filtration rates in dogs. Keywords
