Abstract
A table-top system has been developed for tomographic imaging of the internal structure of objects of low mass density at sub-millimetre resolution. Images are based on the X-ray diffraction properties of constituent materials, and are reconstructed from tomographic data using summation-filtered back-projection. Typical images are presented, the apparatus used for data acquisition is described, and the application of summation-filtered back-projection is discussed. Keywords
