Abstract
A phenomenological application of the bilocal field theory is attempted to describe composite systems of quark and antiquark. Basic equations consist of modified forms of the Bargmann-Wigner equations with mass operator and a subsidiary condition. The vibrational motion of constituents under the pairing (antipairing) and spin-orbit residual “forces” accounts for approximately the mass spectrum of mesic states established untill now. Further, comments are made on interactions among bilocal fields and their quantizations.
