Abstract
Rats were studied in a 13-choice-point, multiple-T, deep alley maze with hunger motivation. Immature and young adult rats learned and recalled equally well. Rats 20 months and older learned and recalled more slowly as a group, and there was great individual variation. "Senile" loss of memory was not accompanied by visible signs of ageing. Keywords
