Abstract
Mild hemorrhage in rats was found to bring a significantly increased liberation of Plasminogen Act activity, localized in tissue lysosomes (lung and kidney). Preceding injection of Aprotinin (10,000 KIU i.v.) significantly suppresses this shock-induced activity in the lung tissue. The possible ways of action of the inhibitor are discussed: (l)an intracellular mechanism with or without a binding of the inhibitor to membrane localized eceptor proteins; (2) an inhibitory effect in the extracellular and interstitial space.
