Abstract
The primary aim of this paper is to provide the users of Landsat‐4 and Landsat‐5 Thematic Mapper (TM) data with a more convenient means to convert the relative digital counts of the TM thermal band into temperatures. Two conversion (calibration) look‐up tables corresponding to two different periods of operation of Goddard's TIPS facilities, prior and after January 15, 1984 are included. The procedures utilized to produce the look‐up tables are briefly described. Keywords
