Abstract
The electromagnetic field due to a current loop placed around a Kerr black hole is investigated within the framework of perturbation theory. The asympotic behavior of the field at large distances from the black hole is studied. The process of charge accretion into the black hole due to the electric field generated by the loop is discussed. Keywords
