Abstract
Oral administration of 8-methoxypsoralen followed by exposure to a high-intensity longwave UV treatment system resulted in clearing of atopic eczema in 15 patients. Paired-comparison studies demonstrated that this treatment was superior to conventional UV light therapy and to no treatment. Regular therapy is apparently necessary to maintain remission of the disease. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
