A Quantitative Difference in the Immune Response between Male and Female Mice

Abstract
The immune response to a protein antigen (BSA, bovine serum albumin) was compared in male and female mice. Female mice developed a stronger and longer lasting immune response and were more responsive to small doses of antigen.
